The space
The Mandela retreat house in Rio Grande. Nestled on a cozy mountainside with a river within walking distance (Rio Espiritu Santo) this property offers breathtaking views that will fill your heart with joy.
Featuring three bedrooms, one full bath, and space for 10 guests, the Mandela retreat house provides an opportunity to rejuvenate, relax, and reconnect in the magical setting of Puerto Rico. The open living space downstairs allows you to breathe in the fresh, magical air while enjoying views that will heal your soul.
This home has a full kitchen with all amenities, fully equipped.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen is an open space that creates a loving, cozy environment With doors that open to the wraparound deck, allowing nature’s fresh breeze to flow through the living space.
We have added Air-Conditioning in all the bedrooms to create a more comfortable sleeping environment.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, and the two other bedrooms have two sets of bunk beds in each bedroom, four beds in each of the two bedrooms. The bathroom is very spacious and creates comfort. There is also plenty of private parking Upon your arrival.

We will meet and greet you upon your arrival to give you a tour of the home and answer any questions you may have.

Meeting Vincent and staying at his Airbnb was one of the most incredible and amazing experiences my family and I could have had. The house is a HOME. It is a private, beautiful area. Sunny days, cloudy and even rainy days are incredible. Close to everything. Fun to get to. The host is so considerate, beyond helpful, understanding of any situation, and is a GREAT communicator. He won’t ever leave you hanging or confused. He works out everything to ensure you’re comfortable and well cared for. Will be staying again, and will be venturing into other properties he has. Do not hesitate to book this home!! Rooms have a/c’s, great space. Worth every penny. I recommend this home anytime, every time. Give yourself and your family a unique experience!!! 🤍🫶🏼

This trip has been a great blessing for each of our lives and I know that God brought us to the place indicated by Him. We had a very nice time, we loved the house and the best part was the attention, thank you Vicent and Yolanda for all the attention they gave us, we felt comfortable as if it were our home, I have no words to describe all their kindness. The house is suitable to have that peace that you need, complying with the rules of laughing until our stomach hurts, we enjoy every moment to the fullest and the best thing is we leave with many memories in our hearts Thank you and you are the best. They also helped us on our checkout date when a minor inconvenience occurred. Great hosts!

This trip was absolutely beautiful! From the beautiful home filled with everything you may need in your stay to an amazing host!! Though the house may seem deep in the rain-forest, there were beautiful memories made in the backyard. The rainy swim in the “Rio de Espiritu Santo” to the Cliff jumps further down in the “Cascada de Espiritu Santo! Do not be afraid to try the amazing food by the locals at the entrance of the main Road! And although this house has everything everything, make your way to the Lechoneras en Guavate! This family of 7 will have memories to look back at and forever. Cherish this experience in the Isla de Encanto. ♡

My favorite part about this about me going trip was to Puerto Rico, river near the house, seeing different animals and dogs. So I love the entire trip and thank you for letting us borrow this I house and this house was the Best!
ХОХОAs you may be able to tell by my daughter’s “small” sentence this trip was amazing! Our hosts, Vincent and Yolanda Were AMAZING!! The house, though very deep in the forest had so much to offer and the location did not mean there was “less” to do. We made beautiful memories in the backyard when we swam in the “Rio de Espiritu Santo’, in the Rain! We loved it!
